It also has been known to freeze up and hog resources.Anyone who wants a full package are better off downloading VLC, Boxee and BitSpirit rather than go with Miro. It has a little bit of everything but not enough of anything. The downsides to Miro is it isn't great at anything but it's not horrible at anything either. While you can watch videos on there from other sites, Boxee does a better job of it and is more feature rich overall. It's file sharing is also pretty basic as you can't just download anything you want. Miro is a good open source video player if you can get past the fact it doesn't play a s many different types of files as the likes of VLC. Beware, however, that the video quality may vary from one channel or video source to another, and that there may be video services that are not available in your country.
